About me
Scott Christensen brings 20+ years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and education specialist in grades K-12 in public schools and charter schools from Washington State, Florida, North Dakota, and Utah. He has taught English/Language Arts in grades 7-11, including Creative Writing and Journalism. Prior to his career in education, Scott worked as a screenwriter in Los Angeles where he would often be asked to guest teach screenwriting at a local high school. It was in these classrooms that he discovered his passion in supporting students to tell their own stories - a passion that continues through today in working daily to empower students so they can say something back to the world.
