About me
I am an instructional coach at Mount Jordan Middle School with a background in science education and physics teaching. After moving from Connecticut to Utah in 2008, I earned a Master’s in Secondary Education and a Master’s of Science in Physics Teaching from the University of Utah. I spent over a decade teaching science and now focus on supporting teachers through coaching, data-driven instruction, and collaborative PLC work. I was awarded 8th grade science teacher of the year by the Utah Science Teacher's Association in 2018 and in 2024 was awarded Outstanding K-12 Educator from the University of Utah. I am passionate about helping educators and students grow while staying connected to the outdoors through snowboarding and mountain biking.
