About me
Jamie Workman brings a bold mix of experience and creativity to her role at the Utah State Board of Education, where she supports the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program. A Westminster University alum, Jamie started her career teaching in South Korea. When she returned stateside, she taught middle and high school before moving into coaching and ultimately stepping into statewide leadership. She’s a passionate advocate for arts education and a firm believer in making learning vibrant and meaningful. Outside the office, Jamie is a world traveler, a skilled photographer, and a devoted dog mom. She also tends a thriving garden—donating her harvest to a local charity that serves communities in food deserts. In short, Jamie is the kind of educator who gets things done and makes it look effortless.
