About me
Katie Nelson has taught a total of 16 years--15 years in general education and 1 year of special education resource for online learners. She currently teaches math to 7th Graders at Eastmont. Katie is a proponent of high-quality public school choice options. Katie serves on the Advisory Council for Utah Schools for the Deaf & Blind. She is an active member of Canyons & Utah Education Association. Katie strives to be an advocate for all students, helping students accelerate as well as helping students who need additional scaffolds and supports.
