Vision

In Canyons School District, we believe that all stakeholders benefit from purposeful technology integration within the learning process, focusing on student achievement. Educational technology will be used to empower teachers, students, and other stakeholders to gain the knowledge and skills needed to adapt, create, consume, and connect responsibly and ethically with the broader world in preparation for meaningful life opportunities.

Tuesday June 2, 2026 12:40pm - 1:40pm MDT
This session prepares school leaders to utilize AI as a powerful thought partner for interpreting complex datasets to drive school improvement. Learn how to use approved tools like Gemini to summarize trends from assessments, surveys, and observations into clear, actionable highlights. Participants will practice tasks such as identifying instructional needs, evaluating team functioning and understanding fiscal impact while learning how to "scrub" information to avoid uploading PII or sensitive student-level data. You’ll work through practical exercises to bridge the gap between raw data and school-wide decisions, ensuring you keep the “human in the loop” to maintain accuracy and professional judgment while reducing the manual burden of data analysis.
